Four more Cardinal athletes signed letters of intent to participate at the collegiate level in their respective competitions.
Kade Folse signed to play soccer at Millsaps College. Head soccer coach Roger Bimah said, “We wish him success, playing on a team that hopefully serves as a guide throughout the next four years of his journey and beyond.”
Laura DeGravelle signed to pole vault at Louisiana Tech University. Her coach Don Grabert said, “I’ve seen her jump since 8th grade and she’s gotten better every year. We’re excited to see what’s to come in her career.”
Jadacia Shanklin signed to run track at Nicholls State University. Coach Don Grabert said, “She’s one of the kind of athletes that we strive to produce at E.D. White–the ones that are humble and hard working.”
Reece Shelby signed to run cross country at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Coach Tommy Schexnayder said, “Around the same time he found his passion in running he found passion for his faith and it’s no coincidence that his success followed.”
Congratulations to each of these Cardinal athletes for mirroring the tenets of our mission statement in their athletic successes.
