Bryan Clement ’82

A 1982 graduate of E. D. White Catholic High School, Bryan Clement garnered numerous athletic honors. A three-year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball, Bryan was a rare 3-year starter in each of these sports. In addition to numerous All-District selections in football, Bryan was an All-State performer as a senior and led his team as the starting quarterback to the state finals in the inaugural Superdome Classic before falling to John Curtis 21-17 that year. In basketball, he played at both the guard and forward positions and at third base and shortstop in baseball. He collected several honors in these sports as well. Described by his teammates as a fierce competitor and excellent leader, he led each of his squads with pride and honor.

 

 

 

 

Ronald Richard T.C. ’61

Mr. Ron Richard, a 1961 graduate of Thibodaux College, participated on the basketball, football, and baseball teams accumulating numerous awards and distinctions as an athlete during his Thibodaux College days. He then went on to play and letter in baseball at Nicholls State University as a pitcher for four years and later earn a training camp invite with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1963. However, Ron truly excelled in his career as a golfer capturing multiple stroke and match play championships. A resident of Arkansas and CPA professional, Ron was named the golf player of the decade for the 1980’s. In 1996, he was named Player of the Year and subsequently inducted into the Arkansas Golf Hall of Fame.
