2024 National Merit Commended Students

Congratulations to Thomas Block and Joy Patten, who have earned the distinction of being named Commended Students in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. These students are part of an elite group of about 34,000 Commended Students nationwide who are being recognized for their remarkable academic promise. While they won’t advance in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship competition, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 highest-scoring participants from more than 1.3 million program entrants.
