The annual fund is an opportunity for parents, alumni, or friends to support the mission of E. D. White Catholic High School, a Houma-Thibodaux diocesan school, through an annual giving program. This tax deductible investment is designed to help cover the GAP between the cost of tuition and the actual cost to educate a student during an academic year. The more collected through the annual fund, the less tuition increases.
**How Are the Gifts Used?**
Gifts go directly to the school’s current operational budget, thereby directly benefiting every student.
**How Your Gift Helps Cover the GAP**
Gifts are directed to teacher salaries and benefits, curriculum resources, tuition assistance, technology improvements, faculty development and recruitment, security upgrades, campus improvements, and other aspects of the school’s daily direction.
**Why Participate?**
Participation allows parents grandparents, alumni, and friends to live the mission of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and the Sisters of Mount Carmel. All gifts are fee-will donations. Every gift, regardless of size matters!

E. D. White Catholic High School is dedicated to keeping tuition affordable for students from all economic backgrounds through need-based tuition assistance. The school does not offer any type of scholarship based on proficiency in academics or any co-curricular area. Annual fund donations to tuition assistance allow the school to assist a greater number of families in need.
The mission of E. D. White Catholic High School is to impart the Catholic faith, promote academic excellence, and enhance self-esteem. We have long desired to provide an area on our campus for quiet and reflective contemplation; an area where students, faculty, parents, and supporters could go to pray the rosary, the stations of the cross, or simply pray in a peaceful environment.
The Our Lady of Mount Carmel grotto and Devotional garden provides such a space for our students. Paying homage to the Sisters of Mount Carmel who last lived in the convent at St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, the grotto is located between E. D. White and St. Joseph under a large oak that was planted when these two school were built long ago.
Your support is crucial in maintaining the beauty and serenity of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grotto and Devotional Garden. This sacred space offers a place of peace, prayer, and reflection for all who visit. By contributing, you help preserve its tranquility and ensure it remains a spiritual haven for generations to come.
