Blaine Hymel, a 2005 E. D. White graduate, is in his eighth year as Head Coach of the Boys Golf team and also currently assists with the EDW football team. He teaches AP U.S. Government, Civics, and Law Studies, guiding students to grow as both athletes and responsible citizens. His commitment to faith, leadership, and student development reflects the mission of E. D. White on the course and in the classroom.
David “Buck” Tate, a 1974 graduate of E. D. White, is in his fourth year as an assistant coach for the Boys Golf program. A Thibodaux native and former PGA golf professional, Coach Tate brings decades of experience and a deep love for the game to the Cardinals. His knowledge of golf and connection to the school’s tradition make him a valued mentor both on and off the course.

Sarah Johnson, a 2001 E. D. White graduate, is the Head Coach of the Girls Golf team and also leads the volleyball program. She teaches Physical Education, fostering both athletic skill and personal growth in her students, and embodies the Cardinal commitment to faith, leadership, and student development.
